Service dogs. Civil rights.

Access is a right.
Let’s stand
behind it.

A table at a restaurant. A room for the night. A seat on a flight. The freedom to travel with your service dog by your side.

Our mission: aggressively challenge unlawful corporate policies through legal action.

Handler-led. Evidence-driven. Built for lasting change.

The reason we stand

A closed door
changes your day.
Let’s change what
happens next.

You came for dinner, a hotel stay, a flight, an ordinary errand. Then a conversation about your service dog became a barrier.

That moment can stay with you long after you leave. The explanation. The unwanted attention. The uncertainty about trying again.

Side by Right begins with a service-dog user’s determination to help the next person walk through with dignity. Our focus is major corporations, from national restaurant, hotel, and retail chains to airlines. We are building an evidence-driven movement to correct unlawful policies through regulatory complaints, demands for reform, and litigation where facts, law, standing, and qualified counsel support it.

A right worth knowing

Two permitted
questions.
No required

For ADA public accommodations, not airline boarding.
When the dog’s service role is not obvious.

Confidence starts
with knowing.

Under the ADA, covered businesses generally must admit a person with a task-trained service dog to public customer areas, including where pets are prohibited. The rules protect access and set responsibilities for handlers.
